ARTIST’S STATEMENT
Barn owls are one of the most widespread of owls, found on every continent except Antarctica. With their large forward-facing eyes, silent flight and nocturnal life they have much appeal.
Here I have drawn a barn owl perched under rafters leading into the shadowed recesses of the roof.
