Marie-Claire Colyer


Marie-Claire Colyer is an Australian self-taught artist and writer, creating photorealistic wildlife and nature inspired paintings and drawings, plus poetry and novels.
With a passion for birds and endangered animals in particular, her art illustrates the intricate detail of the natural world.

Her artwork and writing have been published in numerous magazines, journals and newspapers in Australia and abroad. With several art awards to her name, Maire-Claire has been exhibited in many shows in Australia and overseas.
Her artwork has also been featured in a series of calendars for an international company and licensed for reproduction on a home décor line in New Zealand. Her original paintings and prints are sold internationally.
